Kawasaki KLX300 FMF PowerBomb Header Pipe

These are very hard to come by, but a super cool product.  Used and endorsed by the crew here at HyperLite.  A replacement header pipe made of stainless steel with a powerbomb portion included.  This header pipe is an exact fit replacement for your stock header pipe and will fit perfectly into your stock Kawasaki OEM muffler.  It offers slightly more power throughout the rpm range due to the fact that it has a smooth, constant diameter and radius bent pipe with no pinch points, kinks, or rough areas in any of the internal flow regions.   

It is also slightly lighter than the stock header pipe, and the sound level is very similar to the stock header - definitely not loud at all.  Super High Quality, Manufactured by FMF Racing and Made in the USA!

What you see is what you get - this is a one-off product we had here for testing but did not need to use this particular one.  Brand new product never mounted or run on a bike.  As new in every regard.  Typically, you will need to move the stock packing material inside the small muffler end of your stock header pipe into this new header pipe in order to have a nice leak free fit where it joins the stock muffler.  In addition it's best to use the stock clamp from your OEM header onto this new header too.  Move those 2 items over and the fit up is fairly straightforward.  To be clear - this is a slip-on header pipe - designed to fit the stock OEM Kawasaki muffler.  We cannot ensure that it will fit any aftermarket mufflers.  Buyer is responsible for confirming fitment prior to ordering.

This is a one-off product for us - there is only 1 in stock and once it is gone - that's it.  We will not have any more and there are NO returns on this one-off product for any reason.  It's brand new - part number from FMF is stamped on the header (FMF 042385).

The redesigned PowerBomb is a four-stroke header that incorporates FMF’s patented PowerBomb module at a precise location in the initial stage of the header. By positioning this “Bomb” at a key point in the system, increased performance and flow is achieved through the expansion and contraction of exhaust sonics through the system. Result is a flow increase of nearly 10%! The outer chamber in the Powerbomb allows the air to expand, cool and ramp back up at a higher velocity. Additionally, the PowerBomb is a “pre-muffler” of sorts which helps to lower the bikes sound output by providing more sound absorbing surface area for the sound medium (exhaust gases).

Note: Although not required, but we do recommend running this header pipe with our Performance intake air box lid and also free flowing filter holder for max power gains.
