Honda CRF300F/250F Front Fork Internal Extender

This product will extend the useable travel of your front forks by 1.4 inches (35mm).  As such, it also lifts the front of the bike by 1.4 inches.  Think of it as pushing out the bottom sliders of your forks by 1.4 inches, so you end up with almost 10 inches of travel in the front instead of the stock 8.5 inches!

This product is a different way to lift the front of your bike as compared with our traditional and easier to install front fork external extenders.  The differences are this product requires more work to install but does result in more useable suspension travel.

They basically extend your stock internal damping rod to allow more suspension travel.  Disassembly of each fork is required for install - please refer to the Honda service manual for all the specs and instructions to do so.  This product simply slides onto the end of your stock damping rods.  Longer bolts are provided, to replace the shorter stock bolts that normally hold your damping rod to the bottom of your lower fork leg.  See 2nd and 3rd photos to show how the internal fork assembly looks with these installed.

You can use the stock fork spring or any aftermarket spring, the stock oil height, and stock oil viscosity when using these.  We have been running them for a few years now with great success.  

Sold as a pair - enough material to upgrade one complete motorcycle.  Includes 2 extenders and 2 longer bolts in each kit.

In order to have a balanced chassis front to rear - we recommend running our longer rear shock clevis or Corona adjustable rear link to get the rear of your bike up to match.
