We have tested many different shocks over the years and frankly were not fully happy with any of them.  So, we got to down to work with Cogent Dynamics and decided to develop our very own shock just for the Hyperlite crew.  After almost a year of building, testing, and refining we now have a shock we are very happy with.  

For Off-road, Single Track, recreational riding/general trail use, light motocross, and Hard Enduro riders - THIS is your shock.  Built exactly to our spec, ridden and tested on the root & rock infested trails of Vermont - this shock works amazing and we put our name on it.

Designed, engineered, sourced, and manufactured - ALL in the USA!  Fully rebuildable, and only the very finest materials are used in its construction.  All shocks come with either an Eibach or Ohlins spring (depending on vendor availability) both with the industry's highest standards of accuracy - so you get the spring rate you were promised!

Special easy to use tool provided for adjusting the spring pre-load, turns very easy due to radial bearing and ideal tolerances between all moving parts!

Each shock is hand-built in the US and run on the dyno to confirm full quality control and ensure the damping curve matches exactly to our master specifications.

Available in different spring rates - with internals tuned for each weight. 
Riders weighing 150 to 199lbs - run our Standard (STD) shock
Riders weighing 200 to 250lbs - please use our Heavy (HVY) shock
For riders close to the weight cut-off - we recommend going to the next heavier spring - it is always best to run a heavy spring with very light preload rather than a light spring with the preload really cranked in.

Shocks are pre-built and ready to install.  The rider sag will be in the ballpark out of the box, but we recommend checking and adjusting it after a few break-in rides (5+ hours) and ensure rider sag is set to 3.0 inches as compared with the bike lifted up on a stand...

Note: Our Rear Shock Lengthening Clevis is not compatible with this shock (or any other aftermarket shock). 

Note: This shock is NOT compatible with our Corona Lightweight Adjustable Ride Height Linkage when run in the HIGH setting.  It is fine to use it in the LOW and STD settings though.

Note: this shock is fully compatible with our Bremer Lightweight Billet Shock Linkage.
